Most Effective Self Defense Techniques!

Most Effective Self Defense Techniques" are:

  • Instantly effective
  • Quick and decisive
  • Surprisingly simple

Martial arts and self defense are not the same!

Experienced martial artists know hundreds of techniques, however, when under pressure they will instinctively do what works, rather than pick a matching technique from their vast repertoire of self defense moves.

In a real world situation, an attack is over within a few short seconds. These seconds are filled with panic, chaos and confusion, and you won't have time to think at this point. The application of a few simple principles and techniques will allow you to instantly stop any attacker!

You don't need to be Bruce Lee to defend yourself successfully

Bruce Lee is considered by many to be the best martial artist the world has ever seen. However, though flashy self defense moves like flying kicks and acrobatic stunts while taking out 10 opponents simultaneously may look good on screen, the reality of a violent attack is very different.

Despite his amazing martial arts prowess, Bruce Lee always advocated the use of very simple and effective moves to stop an attack on his life or loved ones. THAT is what you need to know - and this is exactly what "Most Effective Self Defense Techniques" will teach you!

Why you don't need to be big and muscle-bound to apply effective self defense techniques

By applying key physiological principles, you will instinctively be able to choose a technique to instantly defeat your attacker, no matter how big he is. An attacker confronting you will be unable to withstand your techniques, and no amount of training can sufficiently prepare him to overcome your defense.

Flashy self defense moves are for the movies. "Most Effective Self Defense Techniques" contains real-life techniques that can be successfully applied by men or women!

Why I have created this self defense guide

I have dedicated my life to the advancement of martial arts and personal safety. I believe it is a social responsibility for everyone to be able to protect themselves and others from violence.

Although I have long planned to make my self defense manual available to others, it wasn't until the advent of the internet that I was finally presented with a real opportunity to reach a large audience truly interested in real-world self defense.

My students have been nagging me for years (special nod to Markus!) to finally write the book on effective self defense. I am excited to be able to share my expertise and give back to the community by providing advice that can dramatically improve the personal safety of you and your loved ones.

Techniques that are immediately effective!

From my years of experience teaching karate, I can confidently say that it takes several years to learn any martial art to a point where you can apply anything you've learnt. Depending on your style and your instructor, chances are that NOTHING you've learned will be of any use to you under the pressure of a violent attack against you or your loved ones.

For real self defense, there is no need to spend years in martial arts schools and pay a fortune for classes and training. What you really need is simple and effective techniques that will always work, regardless of the situation, your opponent and your age, gender, shape or size!

I invite you to benefit from my decades of training, teaching, study and real-life experience, now condensed into the "Most Effective Self Defense Techniques", available for instant download.

How to use your body as your own secret weapon

I have spent years training in a specialized form of martial arts based on the "Soft/Hard and Hard/Soft" fighting principle. With this method, you can use parts of your body to cause your attacker devastating pain - even if they are much bigger than you!

Based on secret techniques that, until now, have been verbally passed from grandmaster to grandmaster, I can show you how to unleash your full potential - without the need to practice complicated moves or strengthen your body for years! All techniques have been perfected and simplified using physiological principles that will power-charge your ability beyond your wildest dreams!

Effective techniques, suitable for men and women of all ages

From my decades of experience running self defense classes, I know that females new to self defense can initially find it difficult to overcome certain psychological barriers in order to use full and determined force on an attacker. However, although gentle by nature during peaceful times, females can become extremely fierce and effective fighters, often more so than males.

If you're a mother, you'll know what we mean. Imagine your children being threatened. Your emotion and rage would fuel your power and determination to rip your attacker to pieces! Your chances of success are even greater if you have discovered how to channel your anger into effective techniques that will instantly disable any assailant.

With the powerful and easy-to-use training methods described in my book, you'll discover insider secrets on how to strike forcefully - with full determination and minimal physical effort!

Less Money, More Style

How to Keep Your Family Looking Great without Breaking the Bank

Shopping for clothes for your family may be the first thing you scratch off your list of priorities if you suddenly find yourself with less disposable income. But the truth is, what you wear can have a profound effect on how you feel about yourself and how potential employers or clients view you—not to mention how important staying stylish may be to your budding “fashionista” offspring. However, it is possible to minimize the impact a reduced budget can have on you and your family.

For starters, shop more! Shopping more doesn’t mean buying more; it means practicing self-control until you find a great deal. If you typically shop upscale department stores and Saks is now a bit outside of your budget, wait a bit. Holding out for a sale could allow you to buy some of the same items for a lot less. And don’t be afraid to shop at discount stores. It’s easy (and affordable) to update your current duds with stylish pieces from discount-, vintage- and used-clothing stores. If you shop often enough, you can find some great pieces at lower price points.

Read your fashion magazines! You may not be able to afford what you see in the pages of Elle or Vogue right now, but it will help you stay on top of the latest trends. With a little creativity, you can usually pull pieces from your current wardrobe or find similar looks for less.

The same advice applies to your children’s wardrobes. Publications like Acara Mia Magazine will keep you up to date on children’s clothing trends. When shopping for children, buy bigger sizes. Remember the days when mom bought you shoes one size larger than you needed so you could wear them longer? For the little ones, this is a must. Particularly with clothing, if you buy slightly larger sizes, clothes will last longer on a growing child.

If you still think you can’t afford to keep your wardrobe sharp, take a look at where you’re spending your money. Why not give up your daily coffee, cigarettes, desert after dinner or any other not-so-healthy habit to put a little extra money aside for a treat for your family or yourself now and then. Just because you’re watching what’s coming out of your wallet doesn’t mean your rating on the fashion chart has to plummet. Follow these tips, and you and your family will look great while spending less.

Top 10 Tips for Green Living

It can be easy to make greener choices every day.

1. Buy Organic. Organic produce tastes better, and it’s healthier! Start by buying even just 2 percent organic and work your way up from there.

2. Eat Locally. Look for locally grown foods at your grocery store or farmer’s market.

3. No Paper, No Plastic. Anytime you hit the grocery store, meat market or mall, take your own reusable shopping bag.

4. Unplug! You can reduce your consumption of electrical energy simply by unplugging electronics when they’re not in use.

5. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Get in the habit of recycling your glass, plastics, aluminum and paper.

6. Save Water. Take quick showers, fix leaky faucets and turn off the water while you brush your teeth. That alone can save almost 2,000 gallons a year.

7. Reach for the Stars. Energy Star appliances use less energy, save you money and help protect the environment.

8. Turn Down the Heat. Turning down your thermostat 1 degree in the winter and up a degree in the summer could save you 3 percent in home energy costs.

9. Green Your Ride. Buying a hybrid is not the only way to conserve fuel. Keep your tire pressure at the recommended level for greater fuel efficiency. Keep the AC on low, check your air filter and drive a little less.

10. Switch Out Your Light Bulbs. Compact fluorescent light bulbs last 10 times as long and are 25 percent more energy efficient than conventional bulbs.

The Key to Happiness: Gratitude

Jill Daniel wants you to get your groove on—your gratitude groove. She is the founder of the 40-day Gratitude Groove program, designed to empower women to lead happier lives by learning how to tap into appreciation and thankfulness. Jill spoke to SUCCESS for Women about the benefits of gratitude:

Gratitude makes you happier.
When a person is grateful, they make the choice to see the positive in a situation. There aren’t many things we can control in our lives, but it’s completely within our power to control how we think about a situation. Choosing to be grateful is empowering, because if you can see that something good will come out of a scenario, even a challenging event, you have the motivation to keep putting your best effort there. Try it: Next time you’re faced with what appears like an impossible situation, ask yourself, What’s the best thing that could happen here? Can you tap into feeling gratitude for that possibility? When you’re proactive with gratitude, it boosts your faith in yourself and in life.

Work on self-discipline.
When you wake up in the morning and you really don’t feel like going to the gym, you always feel better after you do it, right? Finding what you’re grateful for in any given situation is the same thing. Self-discipline is a foundation of gratitude-consciousness. Just do it. Just be thankful.

Become more self-aware.
Carving out some daily solitude, time to ruminate—even if it’s only 10 minutes—can help us stay self-aware. There are so many outside forces and influences telling women who we should be. To hear that inner voice of authenticity, we have to sometimes shut off the outside world. Having self-knowledge about what is truly important to us is a big piece of being self-aware. I recommend taking time, every few months, to write down all your preferences for your life, as well as writing down all the things you’d like to let go of that no longer enrich you. This practice will get you in touch with your true desires, and once you know those answers, you can act on that knowledge.

Turn your grumpy mood around.
Jill teaches Gratitude Groove with psychotherapist Mary Kay Cocharo, and she wisely says that “bad behavior is a call for love.” That is so true, both for our own behavior and in other people. If you wake up in a foul mood, grumpy at the world, chances are you’re feeling last on your list and need some nurturing. Go out for your favorite breakfast, take an indulgent bath with pampering products, meditate, or call a best friend for a pep talk. A healthy dose of self-love will usually turn a bad morning around pretty quickly.
